Botanical painting is an art originating in Japan that creates interiors by placing natural leaves such as lotus and Indian Bodhi trees on panels and coloring them. I don't just create works, I enjoy the process of creating works and I value freeing my mind. inspired by the Japanese Zen philosophy of observing states of mind similar to meditation.
Course
About the Course Methods and Teaching Qualifications
There are two types of courses: in-person courses taught directly by the founder of Botany Painting, and online courses that can be taken at home at any time.
Instructor courses are available for those who wish.
Instructors can hold their own plant painting classes and display and sell their works.
You can layout and color the plant leaves yourself
You can enjoy the course without any prior knowledge of art. Natural plants will inspire your art, and you'll have fun just painting with your favorite colors. The most important thing is to enjoy the creation process. Please enjoy freely coloring with various colors.
We use acrylic paints for coloring. Acrylic paints are easy to use and can be manipulated with water before they dry, becoming water-resistant once dry. You can enjoy painting using brushes or sponges, much like applying makeup.
Courses spreading from Japan to the world.
Currently, there are about 2,000 qualified instructors in Japan, where we have conducted over 5,000 workshops. Starting in 2024, we have also launched courses in Taiwan. Our art materials are made in Japan, and while we have received requests to host workshops in other Asian countries like China and Korea, as well as in Europe, we are looking to expand from the United States to the rest of the world.
